Here are some simple tips to follow for keeping your dentures clean and in the best condition possible: 

• Remove your dentures from your mouth and run them under clean water to dislodge any stuck food debris. 
• Use a mild soap or denture cleaner with a soft toothbrush to gently brush the dentures.
• Rinse your dentures well after cleaning.
• Be sure to only use denture cleaning products your denturist recommends. Certain products can be too abrasive and will damage your dentures.
• Use a soft toothbrush and fluoridated toothpaste to brush your remaining teeth and gums when your dentures are out of your mouth. If it is uncomfortable to use a brush on your gums, try wrapping a soft washcloth around your finger and use that to clean your gums.
